I Predicted the Table of Every European League 2026/27 (PT. 3)
Part III — The Final Dive
We've covered the giants. We've covered the major European leagues. Now we're finishing the journey across the continent.
We've made it to the final part.
What started with the biggest leagues in Europe has taken us through some of the continent's most recognizable competitions and now into leagues that don't always receive the same international attention.
That's exactly why I wanted to do this series.
European football isn't just the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1. It's dozens of leagues, hundreds of clubs and an enormous collection of football cultures that all operate differently.
So let's finish the predictions.
No more waiting.
No more spreadsheets.
Here are my picks.

Ekstraklasa (Poland)
My Prediction
Pos. | Club |
1 | Lech Poznań |
2 | Legia Warszawa |
3 | Jagiellonia |
4 | Raków |
5 | Górnik Zabrze |
6 | Widzew Łódź |

8 | Korona Kielce |
9 | Zagłębie |
10 | Pogoń Szczecin |
11 | GKS Katowice |
12 | Motor Lublin |

14 | Piast Gliwice |
15 | Wisła Płock |
16 | Wieczysta Kraków |
17 | Śląsk Wrocław |
18 | Radomiak Radom |
Lech Poznań Take the Title
I'm starting this final part with Poland, where I'm backing Lech Poznań to win the Ekstraklasa.
Legia Warszawa finish second, with Jagiellonia and Raków completing my top four.
Polish football has a fascinating balance between traditional giants and clubs trying to establish themselves as the country's next major force. Górnik Zabrze finish fifth in my prediction, while Widzew Łódź come in sixth.
Further down, I'm particularly interested in Wieczysta Kraków. Their rapid rise through the Polish football pyramid has been one of the country's more unusual recent stories. I'm predicting them to finish 16th in their first season at this level.
At the bottom, Śląsk Wrocław and Radomiak Radom are my relegation picks.
Team to Watch: Wieczysta Kraków
Boldest Take: Lech Poznań win the title ahead of Legia.

1. Liga (Czechia)
My Prediction
Pos. | Club |
1 | Slavia Praha |
2 | Sparta Praha |
3 | Viktoria Plzeň |
4 | Sigma Olomouc |
5 | Slovan Liberec |
6 | Teplice |
7 | Hradec Králové |
8 | Jablonec |
9 | Mladá Boleslav |
10 | Pardubice |
11 | Baník Ostrava |
12 | Zbrojovka Brno |
13 | Bohemians 1905 |
14 | Slovácko |
15 | Artis Brno |
16 | Zlín |
1-6: Championship group, 11-16: Relegation group
Slavia Stay on Top
The Czech title race has three obvious giants: Slavia Praha, Sparta Praha and Viktoria Plzeň.
I'm backing Slavia to win it, with Sparta second and Plzeň third.
Sigma Olomouc are my surprise European contender in fourth, while Slovan Liberec and Teplice make up the next tier.
At the bottom, I'm predicting Artis Brno and Zlín to struggle most.
Team to Watch: Sigma Olomouc
Boldest Take: Teplice fight for that last spot in the championship playoffs. Fighting for an european spot.

Swiss Super League
My Prediction
Pos. | Club |
1 | Lugano |
2 | BSC Young Boys |
3 | Servette |
4 | St. Gallen |
5 | Basel |
6 | Sion |
7 | Luzern |
8 | Thun |
9 | Lausanne |
10 | Grasshoppers |
11 | Vaduz |
12 | FC Zürich |
1-6: Championship group, 7-12: Relegation group
Lugano's Moment
I'm going against the traditional hierarchy here.
Lugano are my Swiss champions.
Young Boys finish second, Servette third and St. Gallen fourth.
And then there's Basel.
One of Switzerland's most historically important clubs only finish fifth in my prediction. That would be a disappointing campaign for a club with such a strong European history.
The Swiss league's small size also makes every dropped point matter. There isn't much room to hide over a long season.
Team to Watch: Lugano
Boldest Take: Lugano finish above Young Boys and Basel.

Greek Super League
My Prediction
Pos. | Club |
1 | Olympiacos |
2 | AEK Athens |
3 | Panathinaikos |
4 | PAOK |
5 | Aris Thessaloniki |
6 | Atromitos |
7 | Levadiakos |
8 | Asteras Tripolis |
9 | Kalamata |
10 | OFI Crete |
11 | Iraklis |
12 | Kifisia |
13 | Panaitolikos |
14 | Volos NFC |
1-4: Championship group, 9-14: Relegation group
Olympiacos Remain the Standard
Greek football has a familiar collection of powers: Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, AEK and PAOK.
I'm backing Olympiacos to come out on top.
AEK finish second, Panathinaikos third and PAOK fourth.
The real intrigue is below them.
I'm predicting Kalamata to finish ninth, putting themselves comfortably into the middle of the table in what could be an encouraging season.
Team to Watch: Kalamata
Boldest Take: The traditional four remain the top four.

HNL (Croatia)
My Prediction
Pos. | Club |
1 | Dinamo Zagreb |
2 | Hajduk Split |
3 | Rijeka |
4 | Osijek |
5 | Varaždin |
6 | Lokomotiva Zagreb |
7 | Istra 1961 |
8 | Gorica |
9 | Slaven Belupo |
10 | Rudeš |
Dinamo Again
Croatia is another league where the traditional hierarchy is difficult to ignore.
I'm backing Dinamo Zagreb to win the HNL.
Hajduk Split finish second, followed by Rijeka and Osijek.
Varaždin are my team to watch further down the table. A fifth-place finish would represent a strong campaign and potentially put them within touching distance of the country's European contenders.
At the bottom, I'm predicting Rudeš to finish last.
Team to Watch: Varaždin
Boldest Take: Dinamo comfortably remain Croatia's team to beat.

SuperLiga (Romania)
My Prediction
Pos. | Club |
1 | Dinamo București |
2 | FCSB |
3 | Universitatea Craiova |
4 | Rapid București |
5 | FC Argeș |
6 | Universitatea Cluj |
7 | CFR Cluj |
8 | UTA Arad |
9 | Farul Constanța |
10 | Corvinul Hunedoara |
11 | Petrolul Ploiești |
12 | FC Botoșani |
13 | Sepsi OSK |
14 | Oțelul Galați |
15 | FC Voluntari |
16 | Csíkszereda |
1-6: Championship group, 7-16: Relegation group
Dinamo's Revival?
This might be one of my favorite predictions of the entire series.
Dinamo București win the Romanian title.
FCSB finish second, with Universitatea Craiova and Rapid București completing the top four.
Romanian football has a fascinating collection of historically important clubs, and Dinamo remain one of the biggest names in the country's history.
A championship would be a massive statement that the club is back where it belongs.
I'm also backing FC Argeș to finish fifth, ahead of several clubs with considerably more recent European pedigree.
At the bottom, FC Voluntari and Csíkszereda are my relegation candidates.
Team to Watch: FC Argeș
Boldest Take: Dinamo București win the SuperLiga.

Superligaen (Denmark)
My Prediction
Pos. | Club |
1 | FC København |
2 | Midtjylland |
3 | Nordsjælland |
4 | AGF |
5 | Brøndby |
6 | Viborg |
7 | Silkeborg |
8 | OB |
9 | Lyngby |
10 | Randers |
11 | AC Horsens |
12 | Sønderjyske |
1-6: Championship group, 7-12: Relegation group
København Finish on Top
I'm ending the European predictions with Denmark.
FC København are my champions, with Midtjylland and Nordsjælland following behind.
AGF finish fourth, while Brøndby come in fifth.
The interesting part of the Danish league is how quickly the table can change. A club can go from fighting for Europe to fighting for survival remarkably quickly, and the middle of this prediction is packed with teams capable of moving several places in either direction.
Nordsjælland are my team to watch. Third place would put them firmly among Denmark's European contenders.
Team to Watch: Nordsjælland
Boldest Take: Brøndby finish fifth.
The Final Prediction
That's it.
Every league.
Every table.
Every champion.
Every relegation prediction.
Across this series, I've predicted the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Eredivisie, Primeira Liga, Belgian Pro League, Süper Lig, Scottish Premiership, Austrian Bundesliga, Ekstraklasa, Czech 1. Liga, Swiss Super League, Greek Super League, HNL, Romanian SuperLiga and Danish Superligaen.
And I've probably made enough predictions to guarantee that at least a few of them will age horribly.
That's part of the fun.
Football predictions aren't supposed to be guarantees.
They're snapshots.
They're a way of looking at a league before the season has given us all the answers.
Maybe Feyenoord win the Netherlands.
Maybe Ajax prove me completely wrong.
Maybe Rapid Wien really do knock Salzburg off their throne.
Maybe Dinamo București win Romania.
Maybe Lugano become Swiss champions.
Or maybe none of it happens.
That's what makes the season worth watching.
The best part of making predictions isn't being right.
It's finding out exactly where you were wrong.
And now?
We wait.
